Company Description:
Zero Waste Washington is the public's voice for product stewardship and zero waste. We've been the catalyst for breakthrough recycling and waste prevention policies and programs in Washington for almost 35 years. Our approach is to focus on changing systems rather than individual behavior, and we implement a combination of locally-driven work and advocating for high-level state policy. We catalyze projects that model zero waste at the community level and are currently focused on sharing as a way to decrease consumption and build community connections. We are a strong advocate for producer responsibility – a tool for increasing reuse and recycling as well as moving toward more sustainable product design.
