Position Purpose: Oversee cross-functional internal and supplier teams to drive progress toward enterprise sustainability goals. In partnership with the company’s Director of Sustainability, develop and lead programs that achieve measurable improvements in supply chain, product or operational sustainability. Represent the company in external associations and sustainability collaboratives to stay ahead of emerging trends and ensure Andersen maintains its leadership position.

Position Responsibilities:

Collaborate with RD&I and key suppliers to conduct lifecycle assessments and publish Environmental Product Declarations to guide product development decision making and foster sustainable innovation. Manage metrics tracking, analysis and reporting of lifecycle assessment data.
Lead strategic supplier engagement program to educate supply chain partners about Andersen sustainability priorities and develop and expand best responsible sourcing practices. Develop supplier communications and trainings.
Participate as a subject matter expert and lead key supply chain initiatives and projects that drive value across the enterprise (innovation and risk mitigation).
Assess and measure impacts in Andersen’s extended supply chain to meet corporate product transparency objectives and reduce Scope 3 emissions and related lifecycle impacts.
Partner with Regulatory and Legal functions to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with product transparency commitments, and identification and minimization of materials of concern.
Serve as project manager for the company’s corporate and product sustainability certifications. Evaluate new certifications to ensure Andersen retains its leadership position.
Augment the annual supplier evaluation process to incorporate relevant environmental and social data.
Represent Andersen in external supply chain and sustainability work groups and industry associations.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Direction of Others:

Provide leadership to cross-functional teams to drive progress toward sustainability goals. Direct a diverse range of employees, suppliers and contractors in managing projects related to supply chain, product and operational stewardship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
5-10 years project management experience.
Demonstrated sustainability experience, preferably with product or supply chain focus.
Financial/budget management.
LEED professional accreditation preferred.
Graduate degree or comparable demonstrated knowledge preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams.
Positive and flexible attitude.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
Strong strategic, analytical and communications skills.
